About the Department: Information Technology Department supports all of the County's network infrastructure, data integrity, servers, homegrown and 3rd party software applications and provides Service Desk support to over 640 County employees and their computer platforms. IT also provides GIS coordination, programming, graphic design, and website/Intranet administration. Benton County's IT Department consists of 17 individuals with a wide variety of education and training and all have unique backgrounds in their diverse and specialized fields. About the Position: The IT Programmer/Analyst provides programmer/analyst activities for enterprise projects or system applications that are complex, of the highest technical level, and/or have a County-wide impact; fully proficient individual contributor that works under general supervision. Instructs and coaches other professionals.

Major functional areas include but are not limited to: MFA: Systems Analysis and Programming MFA: IT Business Operations
MFA: User Support

The ideal candidate would have experience with financial systems, reporting, and SQL queries. Experience with Microsoft programming languages a must.

This position will be filled at the IT Analyst 2 or IT Analyst 3 level depending on qualifications.
